POOKY LONDON

Details

Pooky asked for a new creative way to display their ever expanding lighting collection in the expansion space of their London showroom. Emma designed 4 distinctive styles for each of the collections to be showcased in the new area; bathroom, industrial, picture lighting and outdoor. They also needed a new more flexible approach so that clients could view lights in operation alone so Emma worked with her electricians and carpenter to create an entirely new system where each light is individually switched with extra switches for expanding collections and a kill switch so that whole panels could be quickly turned off. For the Industrial collection Emma engineered a style that uses perforated metal on the face of the display unit so that the units have infinite display possibilities and will be able to be used for many years to come with no need to drill new holes a concept that Pooky is taking to its showrooms around the country and world.

Emma also designed and commissioned the new desk, that also doubles up as a bar for events, and the low level display cabinetry as well as the pergola and decking for the outdoor collection.
