MiQ wanted an impactful welcome to the US HQ office, in collaboration with the architect Emma conceptualized this graduated chain curtain and 2.5 m sign of MiQ's Logo. Hffrrrrrrrraving it made was a huge challenge as it needed to be strong enough to take the weight of someone leaning on it yet flexible enough the create the layers of the Q, square metal tube became the most suitable material in terms of visuals but finding any manufacturer capable of rolling something of that size without the square tube craxking or warping was impossible.

After many failed attempts at finding a capable manufacturer Emma enlisted the help of her partner Sandro a tallented carpenter and welder. The 'M' and the 'I' were fairly straight forwards with their straight lines and angles however the 'Q' was quite a different story. Sandro essentially built it layer by layer by creating two giant circles adding sides and supports before closing it withe two more giant circles to give the effect or rolled square tube. By far their most triumphant project to date!
