Tila took over their space from a Coyote Ugly style bar where shots we lit directly on extra tall bar top and dance sessions directly atop of it were not uncommon, so to say it had seen better days. Not wanting to completely rip it out and start again Tilla Commissioned Emma and her partner Sandro to devise a way of reducing the overall height to a more standard measure and adding a new bar top. Executive Chef Dan Doherty had dreams of something in metal so with his blessing Emma & Sandro custom built a new bartop in ply and wrapped the entire piece in 1.5 mm sheet for added durability and strength.
